It’s been on my list of blogging to-dos for several months now, but, ya know, I got a bit lost in the blog for a bit. This month, I’m finally going to link up with The Tiny Twig to share my November Goals With Grace. And let’s be real, grace is the only way I can even think about goal setting, lest I be defeated before I start. But it sure does help to get things out there and “on paper”, doesn’t it?
November is a busy month for us with our biggest boy’s birthday, youth events, holiday planning, an adoption event, and lots of holiday shop things going on. Considering the busyness, I’m keeping it super simple this month:
Date each kiddo once. We mostly always do this, but it’s going to be challenging this month and it’s a must. Be present with them when I’m with them, especially in the midst of such a crazy month.
Complete one family photo album/book/scrapbook/something. I’m so, so ridiculously behind in this area, guys. Scrapbooking had been my jam for a while and somehow I kept having babies and the years were sucked up and I haven’t done it in years. (Run. On. I know.) But truly, keeping some kind of track of our family memories is important to me. So, let this be the month that I decide on something (anything!) as far as memory keeping and successfully put together ONE full collection of photos. I started a pin board to get some ideas flowing. It’s a start.
Bring my daughter home. Oh shoot, that’s not technically a goal because I actually cannot do anything at all to make this happen. How about: Continue to pray fervently, daily for every chain to be broken, for the government to open its doors, and for my daughter to be released to come home? Yes, I can do that.

Are you one to write out your goals regularly? What are some ways you’ve found success in goal-setting (and, more importantly, goal-keeping)?
