This blogging world is a funny place sometimes, but I’m most thankful for the genuine friendships that have developed through it. This is my dear friend Lindsy, writer at Light Breaks Forth, co-owner of Johari Creations, and fellow Jesus follower, adoptive mama, and justice seeker. Could her sweet family be any cuter? The answer should be an emphatic no, except that they are missing one very important member: their tiniest girl who is currently stuck in DRC (along with our daughter and hundreds of other children who have been legally adopted but not permitted to go home with their adoptive families).
Lindsy and William recently answered another great call on their lives to become missionaries to an at-risk neighborhood in inner city Miami. They will be working with InnerChange, an organization that equips communities of missionaries to live in marginalized neighborhoods around the world – places most people want to avoid or ignore. They seek to live out the good news of Jesus among the poor, both in word and deed.
I’m so excited to be able to partner with the Wallace family this month. A portion of every MERCY iNK shop sale in October will benefit the Wallace’s work in Miami. Please join me in supporting them by making a purchase. You can also read more about their journey and pray specifically for their needs and requests right on Lindsy’s blog.
Thank you guys in advance for supporting MERCY iNK and this awesome family’s work among the poor.
