For the sweet Instagram followers, you probably already know that this is what’s happening in our home this week:
This picture makes me laugh. Everything going every which way, the random box of Fruitloops in the top cabinet, and other conspicuous objects oddly placed all over my counters. It’s a mess in here, I tell you.
But the best part of this project is the price tag, which is essentially (almost) free. We bought a can of paint. And it may have cost us our
lives sanity precious time, but those who have boldly gone before tell me it’s worth it.
Which brings me to my next heart/home reflection:
what I really think about people.
People like our friend Ben who, when asked to borrow his paint sprayer gun thingy, said that he would just take our cabinets and spray them for us.
Who does this?
People, I tell you. They are surprising me in the most refreshing ways.
Also of note? This friend.
That ran a triathlon… for us.
We’re working really hard to help him meet his goal. Read more about that here:
I would love for you to read the stories of our amazing friends and how they’ve given so sacrificially.
And speaking of having less so we can give more, I recently shared one of the things really stirring in our heart and home right now is a fresh revelation of simple living. This book has been a huge part of that journey, and I highly recommend it.
Now what about you? What’s happening in your heart and home this week?
