My friend Sarah just shared that this week’s Sevenly cause is all about ending hunger in Congo, so I had to get on and share with you all right away.
If you don’t know about Sevenly, they are a beyond stellar, ethical company that donates $7 from each tee shirt sale to a new cause each week. They change their shirt designs and products every week, so if there’s something you like, you get it now before it’s gone.
This week, they’re partnering with Action Against Hunger, specifically fundraising for AAH’s lifesaving work in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I’ll let them give you the story:
Here are a few of my fave tees + other fun goodies from this week’s designs
(which, notably, are only available through Monday morning before 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST):

When you consider buying one of these tees, remember that besides a portion of the sales going to an incredible cause that’s literally saving lives, all of the tees are ethically made. No forced child labor. No sweatshops. This is why we are willing to pay more. (Read more about why fair trade matters).
A few closing thoughts from the folks at Sevenly regarding this week’s cause:
Later today, you will get hungry and take 5 steps to your refrigerator to satisfy the ache in your tummy. That small satisfaction is something that 42,000 people in the Democratic Republic of Congo will never experience because they are literally starving to death. Acute malnutrition is a preventable and treatable condition that causes the body to consume its own tissues to survive, targeting muscle and body fat first.

This week your support will provide 21 meals for a child suffering from deadly malnutrition. These meals are specifically designed to heal an extremely malnourished child by satisfying their hunger and treating their condition. For many children, this means the difference between life and death. Partner with us and help save a life.
Let’s help Action Against Hunger meet their fundraising goal.
