Weekend Reading

This week I’ve been especially grateful for online community and how that is transferring into real-life community, real relationships. Of course it’s a fine line and we can easily get sucked in, but as we seek first His kingdom, I believe that this funny online world can really matter.

Food For Thought For Your Weekend

Carissa Woodwyk via Restoration Living // Change

Jessi Connoly via The Influence Network // We Can Afford Anything

Modern Mrs. Darcy // It’s More Than A Kid Hangover

The Sweet Water Blog // Overcoming the Lie: Where I Belong

Sarah Wood via Mercy Found // Our Story is Not Our Own

Pencil Shavings Studio // From Surviving to Thriving (thank you TinyTwig for sharing this)

Also, I’m seriously loving this idea on fostering creativity in your child I read about from Kerry Todd (who read about it here). And speaking kids and creating, I have not stopped thinking about doing this. It’s an old post but I just discovered it and think it sounds quite liberating. And awesome.

And a special thank you to MERCY iNK’s current sponsor:

50% of their profits are given to Lifesong for Orphans, an awesome organization that helps funds adoptions. Check out her handmade shop for a sweet little kid tee with purpose!

So, what have you been reading this week?

I really resonated with the “surviving to thriving” post. Thanks for putting it on my radar. (And thanks for the mention!)
