Last week at this time I was all packed up and headed out of town in my sweats and a trunk full of scrapbooking supplies.
It was welcomed refreshment, in both the physical form of comfort food, snacks, and coffee with too much creamer, and the spiritual form of the quiet, soul filling up kind.
The past few weeks I’ve enjoyed reading the web wanderings at All Our Days. In the past I’ve done similarly, sharing some stories worth telling from around the internet, and I thought today would be a great day to pass along some quality weekend reading for you from my web wanderings this week:
I know it’s a few week’s past, but
some Super Bowl reflections:
When Mama Ain’t Happy + What Mama’s Doing About It / / Lisa-Jo Baker
Slavery Was Not Abolished in 1865, Not By A Long Shot / / Lauren Casper
On a less serious (but oh so lovely) note:
DIY Filing Drawer Coffee Table / / Under the Sycamore
Other good/sweet/hard things:
Tips to Remain in God’s Will / / A Secondary Heartbeat
I Met Love in a Grocery Store / / Heather Boersma
I Can’t Believe It’s Been Over a Month / / Katie Davis {tissues, tissues}
Bashing the Church as Outreach / / Heirs with Christ {Yes. This.}
And here’s a bit of where I’ve been in the Word this week.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Cor. 1:25
