Do your kids attend Sunday School? Big Sis has been a part of our church’s Sunday School for two years now, and Little Brother recently turned 4 and now gets to join the fun.
I believe it’s my job to teach my kids about God first, but I’m super grateful for people that are gifted at presenting the Gospel to my children in more engaging ways that I do on my own. It’s a special partnership.
Our local church has long been a supporter of Metro Ministries, the largest Sunday School in the world.
Metro is a Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to serving inner city children throughout the five boroughs of New York City and in various urban centers around the world.
Since 1980, Metro has been serving low-income, inner city children and their families.
Operation Holiday Hope is Metro Ministries’ biggest outreach of the season, positively impacting the more than 100,000 children who will attend Metro’s Sunday School during the holidays.
Metro wants to send every child home with a wrapped Christmas gift of their own, all for just a $10 donation. More importantly, every child has a chance to hear about the love of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas.
I wanted to pass along the site for you as yet another way to make Christmas Meaningful in your home.
Don’t forget that you can link up your own Meaningful Christmas ideas, gifts, projects and recipes on the Merry Meaningful Christmas Link up page. I love hearing what you’re up to in your celebrating this year!
Take a minute to hop on over to the Metro’s Facebook Page to see Day 1 of the Holiday Hope campaign.
