For several months now, I’ve been talking about and praying over my upcoming trip to Guatemala with WorldHelp’s Operation Baby Rescue. It hardly seems possible that after all the talk the journey is actually happening in less than two weeks. Nerves are setting in as I prepare to leave my little ones, yet I am confident that God has called me to go.
I know that I need you amazing friends here to support me in prayer. If you haven’t had a chance to watch yet, I pray you would take two minutes now to view this short trailer about Operation Baby Rescue:
Today I am also sharing about the rescue over at The Houtz House Party. I asked Kelly’s readers if they would each give just a few dollars towards rescuing babies.
And I want to challenge our Heart + Home community, US, YOU, to do the same today, to give $5 to the rescue.
Just. Five. Dollars.
Today.
Of course you can give more if you want. But I believe most everyone reading today can spare five bucks, one less latte, one less run through the drive thru, one less decoration for fall.
Nearly 500 amazing women visit the Heart + Home link up ever Tuesday. At a dollar each, we would be well on our way to fully funding the rescue of one sweet baby. So, will you join the mercyINK challenge to give $5 towards baby rescuing today? Let’s see how close we can get to saving a life!
