If you’re new around here or if you haven’t stayed up on all the mercyINK posts, every month I post a roundup of all the projects, designs, and posts from the past 30 days.

AUGUST GOALS

I am so looking forward to August and have such anticipation in my heart for personal and bloggy growth this month! I’ve been inspired by several women (like Sarah Mae) who have posted their goals out there for the world to see.

You readers mean so much and are incredibly supportive, and in light of all that, here are my (very simple) goals for the month of August. I’m hoping that publishing them will help hold me accountable (kind of like the bug me list) and perhaps inspire other mamas to be intentional on setting goals.

PERSONAL(goals)

> Wake up before my kids 5 days/week (I know I should already be doing this every day, but my kids wake up early, y’all)

> Read through one entire book, cover to cover, in August (I have a really bad habit of reading umteen books at a time and never finishing them all the way through)

FAMILY(goals)

> Focus on one specific virtue this month, coming up with activities and verses to guide our growth (more on this one soon)

> Daily devotions together every week day

> Plan and organize a family worship night 1x/week

> Memorize a new verse together each week

> Plan monthly date night and get it on the calendar (ummm, yeah, we’ve slacked on this big time!)

COMMUNITY/CHURCH(goals)

> Host staff dinner

> Plan a girls night? (Sept)

BLOG & BUSINESS(goals)

{I need YOU all to help make these possible.  Thanks so much for helping and encouraging me and for the role you’ve played in allowing this blog to grow.}

> Complete 1 guest post/week for the entire month (I’ll be over At the Picket Fence this Sunday!)

> Continue to raise awareness and funds for world issues, orphan care, and the call of the Church (more on this one SOON!)

> Increase traffic to Heart & Home link up through networking and directory listings

> Increase traffic and subscribers to blog & etsy shop by 20% through social media, networking, etc

> Partner with at least 2 brands, businesses, or shops to host a product review

> Pray over conference opportunities and pursue possible sponsorships
