Good morning, friends. I’m so glad you’ve stopped to join in our {Heart}&{Home} gathering today.
Before we start, may I share my heart with you?
In an amazing turn of events only God could have crafted, I will be traveling to Guatemala with WorldHelp‘s Operation Baby Rescue {OBR} this coming October. WorldHelp/OBR provides life-saving treatment for thousands of children battling the effects of malnutrition.
WorldHelp has partnered with an incredible ministry on the ground in Guatemala, making trips into remote mountain areas to rescue babies who are literally starving to death. They then provide life-saving treatment and medical care, nursing the children back to health, and ultimately reuniting them with their families.
If you have a few moments, it would bless me beyond measure to have you watch this short, 10 minute documentary on Operation Baby Rescue:
I will be blogging the entire journey.
Will you join me?
In the coming days, you’ll be hearing a lot more about the rescue. I hope to raise awareness and a whole bunch of funds for saving lives. I invite you to visit my fundraising page… and please know that I am not raising funds for me to go, but funds for the rescue, for those very real babies. For those mamas who, without your gift, might spend the rest of their days without their children. Tweet with us at #irescue
Thanks for hearing my heart, friend. I consider you my partners on this crazy amazing adventure.
