A little encouragement for you today, friends.
Dear Lord,
Let us live today fully, without fear.
Thank you that you have made a way for full life, abundant life, life free of fear and bondage.
Let us parent today out of grace and love, not out of fear and anger.
You’ve given us everything we need to live out Your love in loving others, in loving our children; not by our own strength, but by yours alone.
Thank you Jesus, that we can love because you first loved us. And we know your perfect love casts out fear.
So today, we trust You alone, Jesus, our salvation. We whisper Your name, the name above every name, the name that every knee will bow before; and in speaking that name, we acknowledge our trust in You.
And “every fear has no place at the sound of your great name.”
Thank you, Jesus, our Salvation.
Amen.

You know, right before I read this post, I had just said, “Lord, I’m afraid.” And then I read your post. Thank you so much for touching my heart with God’s word and a reminder of His faithfulness in all things. :-)
Libby— that is awesome!!! I hate living in fear… and I am constantly fighting thoughts that are not of God, because “there is no fear in love” and “God is love”… trying to grasp that and TRUST.
thanks so much for sharing :)
So thankful for a God we can trust with all things!
