Today is the second installment (catch the first one here) of the new Guest Host series here on SSJ,
Ms. Holly from BellaNest has a great project for us, using lace and a DIY chalk paint recipe to transform a table from drab to fab. Please welcome our guest:
Hi there! My name is Holly and I’m ecstatic to be a guest here at Summit Street Joy! I blog over at Bella Nest where I share simple and inexpensive ideas to bring your nest to life!
1. You don’t have to prime or sand beforehand unless there’s dents or scratches you don’t want showing through. It’s thick consistency will usually hide small marks.
2. If you’re an impatient person when it comes to waiting for the paint to dry to apply your next coat, chalk paint was made for you! It dries very quickly, cutting your work time in half.
3. You can change it’s consistency by adding water to thin it out and can even create a washed look.
