It’s safe to say the past month has flown by, and been full of activity. We were able to visit lots of family and friends in December during our visit north, and I survived both 10 hour car rides without going into labor, which was my worst fear!
Our visit north started with a wonderful stay with Jon, Jolene, and their son. Such a blessing to be with my dear friend that I talk to every week, but see only once a year, at best! God has shown me so much of His faithfulness through our relationship; it is just incredible to see how far we have both journeyed in our walk with Him, the joys and trials he has brought us through, and the journey into motherhood which we have both now embarked on.
Big Sis and T., just a few months apart in age, could not have gotten along any better! It was actually remarkable. Not a fight or disagreement to speak of.
Pour Big Brother C couldn’t quite break into their fun, though. T just wasn’t sure what to do with him. This picture says it all:
Oh man, this sure does make me laugh!!!
Pour C! But sweet Sis and T!
What was most profound to me during the visit, though, was how amazing T is doing since we saw him last Christmas, just a few months after he came home from Ethiopia. Another mark of God’s faithfulness and goodness!
