Last week at church I came across Nazarene Compassionate Ministries‘ Giving Calendar in the bulletin. It’s broken into 31 days, and for each day “there is a need presented and a call to meet that need through generous and prayerful support. Use this calendar in your family, small group, church body, etc and discover new ways to embody compassion in your neighborhood, your city, and around the world.”
I loved the challenge and awareness that comes with it, so thought it would also be a powerful yet easy thing to share with you all. Will you join me?
If you don’t have a copy of the calendar, simply jot down your giving amount with each day’s challenge, then choose an organization (like NCM) to send it to at the end of the month.
